Blade Vortex Chieftain has recently gained a lot more popularity due to buffed strength stacking mechanics and as a result = increased EHP and damage.

I dived deep into the build to see how far i can push it with decent amount of currency i had at the end of Metamorph league and OH BOI it’s actually so good and satisfying!
The original plan was to revamp my old Blade Vortex Inquisitor build, but after the Warlord Mark nerf and all the buffs that happened to strength, unfortunately ES variations of BV are WAY MORE tankier than life versions, while still delivering a good amount of damage.
What i have here is a super tanky, mobile build with great recovery and good bossing damage. ES version is WAY more expensive than LIFE version, but you can transition when you have enough currency for it.
With the introduction of BLADE BLAST in 3.10 i am pretty sure there will be even more BV builds out there. So far i think Blade Blast is cool, as it gives even more AOE. We will see what future brings, maybe explosions will deal significant amounts of damage and one of the supports can be replaced entirely for BLADE BLAST.
